I live in L.A. and since its a little warm I crank up the A/C. Today I noticed that a little water leaked from the A/C, now I know its normal for water to leak from the A/C but why does it happen?? I could never understand why water leaked from the A/C. Is there some way to prevent that from happening? Do I have to replace the water that leaks out??? How common is this on v6 Firebirds/Camaros?? Any help would be appreciated.

The water is condensation that forms from the moisture in the air on humid days. Perfectly normal and requires no actions on your part.
EDIT: Let me clarify. If you leave a glass of icewater on the table, the water that forms on the outside of the glass is exactly like what happens with your A/C.Check out my stable of supercharged W-Bodies HERE
\'97 Pontiac GP GTP Coupe
\'98 Regal GS | L67 3800 Series II

The water is formed from outside air i.e. Humidity. So the water never actually comes from inside your A/C. Don't worry about it.Check out my stable of supercharged W-Bodies HERE
\'97 Pontiac GP GTP Coupe
\'98 Regal GS | L67 3800 Series II
