  • Question On Window Motors

I need a new window motor for my Drivers side door. Is the motor universal? Can I use the a motor and regulator from a passenger side door?

yes they are interchangeable, but you should only have to replace the motor.

I know i read something on this site a looong time ago about F Body window motors and how they dont really break down. All the problem is a burned out resistor thats inside the window motor.

I read a person having a burned out window motor replaced this 0.10 cent resistor and put the same motor back in and it worked just fine.

Maybe someone remember what i am talking about?
