stalling out need help

my 2000 firebird is stalling out and weird intervals, need to know whats going on, i'll be driving down the highway at 65 or so and the throttle just dies and have no acceleration, and if i come to a full stop it will stall out, i wait a few seconds and it will start just fine and run, its got me stumped because it shows no codes at all, please need help or advice.

ps. the dealership is no help [img]graemlins/crybaby.gif[/img] :mad:

my buddy chris uses this name more than i do. he has a 2000 v6 firebird 5 speed

Change the fuel filter. It's a good first step and relatively inexpensive. If that doesn't fix it, you might have a fuel pump issue.

If the filter doesn't fix it, the next suspect is the fuel filter. The good news is, if the car is a 2000, it should be under warranty.
