They're supposedly good for 100,000 miles.
I have 77,000 miles on my stock plugs and they're still going strong.
Some people say there is no way you should run them that long.

i have a '97 bird with 55,000 on it. what kind of spark plugs come on a 97 3.8 firebird? how long is it recommended you wait to change the spark plug wires?Comment

The stock plugs suck butt....they claim they are good for 100K, but I changed mine after 20K, and the difference was HUGE. I put over 200 miles a day on my car, so I am going to start changing them every 18,000 miles, with my oil changes. If you don't drive the car that hard (and I mean beating on it or high mileage), you should be safe changing them about every 30K.
