So after 4 years I decide its time to get new tires. Hydroplaning and screeching corners are no longer fun. I've looked around for a nice, all season, fun tire and decided on the Kumho asx. My dad called around and suggested Dayton Daytona sr which I have NEVER heard of until I found out it was a branch of Bridgestone-Firestone. I just wanna know which you guys would go for. I'm leanin toward the asx myself. Thanks.

I have a set of ASX's on. I love them for the money I have into them. They grip on dry pavement VERY nice. no problems at all in water. Still have to see how they fare in snow.... but it doesnt look like you'll be having that problem in TX.\'01 Mineral Grey SVT Cobra
-former F-body owner

My vote goes to the Daytons. I'm on my second set of Daytona SR's, and they're great for a daily driver. The first set I bought lasted 55K, about 10K longer than the Goodyears that came on the car. They hold the road much better than the Goodyears when things got slick too.2000 3.8L Firebird, Silver Metallic

\"Yes, London. I'll throw the oddball and say Sumitomo HTR+
I'm on my second set now, first was 245/50ZR16 and now 275/40ZR17. Work great in the snow (well, at least as good as a RWD car will allow) and are inexpensive. Much, much stickier than you'd think possible from an all-season, although they were wearing a good bit faster than I expected with the 360 tread rating. Went through almost half the tread life in just the first year, only 10k miles of semi-aggressive driving.1994 Firebird 3.4
15.65 @ 86.8
funkz.net/firebird
Timeslips

I say the Datyon Datona's. I have a set of the ZR's on my car and they grip so well. I can go into a turn damn fast and have no problem. I love them. The tread on mine look pretty sweet too.
