hey guys, I'm looking for some inexpensive horsepower. Ive looked at comp cams to Vortec superchargers...kinda only want to spend $2000 or less. I've seen superchargers and turbos on ebay from 3.8L buicks and bonnevilles, but I don't know if they would work on a L36. hmm....anyone know how much of a difference those Xtreme Energy Comp Cams (pages 198 and 199) give? (ET's, specs, anything) They seem to be the best deal as far as other Mod's that need to be done to it. According to the Haynes Repair manual, taking out the radiator and such can allow you to access the cam without removing the engine. Labor costs probably will still be high...
