my wifes 1993 3.4 has been idling at 1700rpm then i diconected the battery and it went away for two weeks. nut now it is back and is idling at around 1900-2100rpm? does anyone know what could cause this? we depend on this car and need to fix it thanks.

Well, actually...no. Not without a scanner...
I had a major idleling problem with my car, and I knew quite a few other guys that had the same problem, all narrowed down to the IAC Sensor. I'm not sure about the 3.4's, because my friends have the 3.8 engines, but erratic ideling was quickly narrowed down to the IAC ;)
Go to autozone. My IAC Sensor cost me $26 as opposed to $125 at the dealer [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]
