    Hypertech says that "The stock computer is programmed to shut down the engine when it reaches the redline." This has never happened to me
    Another thing.. For the 1997 3.8 L Camaro (and all other applicable models) What is the redline 5500 or 6000?

    Redline on a stock 3.8L V6 is at 6k. Fuel shutoff is somewhere north of that, 6100 or so I think. I know because I've hit it ;)
