    wierdest damn thing...

I decided to take my car to autozone to get a scanner hooked up to it to see what my SES light was from. It being a 95 3.4L, it should be OBDI(right?), so they take the OBDI scanner out and it won't hook up to my port. Totally wrong configuration.

They take their OBDII scanner out, plugs in, won't work though.

    WTF?

You guys know of a specific scanner I need or something? I mean really, what the hell?

I'm not 100% sure, but being a 95 3.4 you have a ODBI computer, but at some point in 95 they started switching to ODBII ports. Autozone I would think would have an adapter its pretty common.

autozone can NOT scan a 95. you have an OBDII 16 pin connector with an OBDI control system. This is due to getting ready for all OBDII in 96. you need a real scanner to read it
