melted wire

ok, so i just made a post about thinking i had a second MSD coil go out... well i found out today that its not the coil, but a wire that fell against my header and melted to it, causing it to arc onto the header. this really sucks because i cant afford to buy a whole new damn set of wires. is there anywhere i can buy just 1 Taylor wire to match my set without having to buy all new ones!?

Also, my cat is clogged as all hell. if i were to cut it out and hollow it, will exhaust shops give me **** about welding it back up hollowed? it needs to be done, but i dont want to cut it off if no one will weld it back up for me since it isnt legal

Why don't you just go to Autozone and get a set of wires for $30?

Gut the cat and take it to the most redneck mechanic you can find. Or just bounce from shop to shop until you find someone to do it.

And if they ask if you hollowed it out. Just kinda look off into space and say it's a special ordered high flow cat. haha
