  • Nebbie... i need help

    Hi everyone,
Im sure you get this all the time, so sorry if this is a anoying question. I just bought a 96 firebird V6 3.8 5-speed. I want to modify it a lot and make it a lil faster. I have never done this before and so i don't have any clue where i should start, what would be good and what could mess it up. I would REALLY appericate if anyone could give me some ideas and suggestions. I know a few things that Im going to start with, but i don't know what would be best. thanks a bunch. Start with intake and exhaust and go from there. A shifter is also a good idea, since you've got a 5 speed. Read through the Modifications Encyclopedia at the top, it's got most of the available mods in it and explains them pretty good.

One thing you'll want to start doing is searching the board for common questions. Many people ask the same questions over and over, so the common questions have already been answered. If they keep getting asked, the mods will start locking posts and telling them to search.

Edit: BTW, Welcome to the board! :D

If i were u my first upgrade would be a Flowmaster catback exhaust. Also, look at slponline and research there COld Air Induction kit.
