How do i tell if the coil packs on my car are bad? should i just go ahead and replace them? I ask becuase my cra runs rather rough in idle. I replaced plugs and wires less than 1k miles ago. Thanks.

Start off w/the simplest fix....check to make sure you haven't burned a plug wire somehow, & check the plug gaps. If neither of these are the problem, test the coils to ensure they are working properly. also, remember that many things can cause rough idle, not just ignition components. one of many problems could be occuring that lead to fuel system malfunctions or you may have a mechanical engine problem.ASE Master, L1, X1, C1.
