  • Passenger Window Problems ( Not the Motor )

Well, I took my car to the shop yesterday and let me tell you. Dont let you RAP module go out! It took them at least 4 hours to get to the damn thing. I watched all of it. The dash was compleatly taken out. Well, once they installed it my power door locks, side view mirrors, radio, and drivers side window work. They are fixing the convertible top right now, but they can get the passenger window.

I changed the motor about 3 months ago so I don't think it could be that. What else could cause it not to work?

I'm pretty sure the RAP feature is controlled by the BCM (Body Control Module) which is the little black box behind the radio with two connectors going to it. People with !DRL will be very familiar with the box I'm talking about. Only takes 5 minutes to change it out.

Here's a link to show you where the BCM is located...

Not trying to say your wrong, but it must be different on a 95 firebird. I watched them do the entire thing and they had to take out the dash. They tried going through the radio, but it didn't work. They had to call tech headquarters and get them to send the detailed instructions because it was so hard to find.

Anyways, Anyone got a suggestion about my window?
