I have a convertible and was wanting to know if anyone could or has made a lockable top to the main console. I am probably gonna try this myself and any help would be appreciated

Out of curiousity, is there a reason you can't use your glovebox? Either way, you may be able to find a glovebox lid at a junkyard and use the locking mechanism out of it. Just a starting thought. I'm sure there are better ways, but good luck.

The glovebox is not only very small but very flimsy as well (I can pry it open with my hands when locked way too easily). Maybe im under estimating the challenge of this task, guess ill just have to stick with putting everything in the trunkCheck my 01 vert firebird at http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages/view_page.pl?page_id=376416
