  • Best performance gains..?

I was wondering what to get first:

    1) high-flow cat (still have original stock cat)
    2) Underdrive pullies & new belts (still have original belts)

I am going to do both eventually, but I was wondering which one I should do first. I'm leaning towards the cat, since the stock one is very restricting, and it should make my after-market exhuast louder. Let me know what you think. Thanks

If you get pullies, you're gonna want to get a high output alt.

I'd go with the cat first, because you get both performance and great sound.

get the CAT I have both, Exhaust is the best mod I ever did for my 3.4L, pulleys help as much as maybe running your car on a cold day or a hot day. Nothing much, and I had alternator problems so I only run the crank pulley.

            Definitely cat first.
            Then pulleys.

The sound of an exhaust through a high flow cat is great (it's even better with no cat(s) ;) ).
