• Oil pan gasket?

I noticed a small oil leak and it looks like it's the gasket. Is this common in our cars, or is it probably something else? Thanks.

Thanks guys. Yeah it's a very small leak. Maybe a few drips a day. Not a priority, but I know its there so it dives me insane. Thanks again.

yeah, if its a small leak like you said, i would let it go for now cause its a pain to replace your oil pan gasket. quick Q? did you recently replace your oil with synthetic?

ok, just wondering cause going from oil to synth. can cause buildup to be pretty much washed and cause leaks. therock, i know its possible but im just saying most of the time, it poors oil.

I had a small leak a long time ago, all I had to do was tighten the bolts on the pan, they were a little loose. Fixed the problem.
