I was just wondering if anyone knows if the B&M electronic shift enhancer is alright to use on my 1992 camaro RS with the 3.1 liter V6 tranny. Has automatic overdrive. Pretty new to the whole mod thing as I just got this car less than a year ago and it's the first car I have had that's worth modifying, even if it's only small things here and there. I already took out the inside headlights and used the space for a cold air induction cone as well as bypassed the throttle body coolant. Any advice with the shift enhancer stuff?

the B&M shift enhancer looks like an awsome product, i'm going to get one next week, my mechanic was telling me that its a very good upgrade for the drivetrain, also if you have stock exhaust system try to get a higher performance system. you can slos look at the Modifications Encyclopedia, it was very helpful to me Red 94 Firebird: KIA<br />Black 2000 WS6 T/A: Parts for Sale

thanks alot loochy88, i was about to buy one of those, becasue my mechanic said it was good , but i just bought the TransGo instead. I quess i should do some research before i take mechanics words :D .
I just have a few questions about the TransGo, i have over 172,000miles and i have no idea if the transmission of even the transmission fluid has been changed, should i get a new filter and fluid and if so what kind, to prepare the transmission for the new way it will shift?

i have heard people say that if your tranny has gone a long time without fluid change that its actually not good to change it for some reason, but i dont buy into that. I changed mine when i got it and it hadnt been changed before... it only helped if anything. definitely change it i say. there should be a recommended fluid in the manual, i dont remember what brand i got. its not that hard of a job, the hardest part is prying out this little ring. youll know what i mean when you get to it. make sure you get that gasket in there right... and gve that filter a change. your tranny will thank you. have fun with the shift kit!

I bought a shift improver for my 96 with 4l60e and i would suggest against getting one. My tranny was rebuilt, only had about 10k miles on it, i put the shift improver on it and now the tranny is slipping plus at full throttle the shifts arent even that hard.. the only time you can notice the difference is when your going 25% throttle then its really noticeable. But my suggestion: Dont get one.
