was working this weekend then went to use it...and it doesnt work anymore so now everytime i get in it sets the alarm off...do i have to get a new one or change a batter or what???

keyless entry problem

I bet you had a fuel leak under the car. The leak eventually pooled, and there was a spark from a chafing wire. The fuel ignited and caused the keyless entry's receiver to melt, while leaving no other evidence of the fire.
Oh, wait. Maybe the battery's just dead. [img]tongue.gif[/img]Matt

it was just the battery i took it out last night cleaned it off a little bit and tried to use it and it worked...then today bought a new battery works awesome now...thanks for everyones help...as for the fuel leak..it didnt happen but i did leave the remote sitting on the exhaust pipe and it melted to the exhaust piping and everynight around 3 am my car plays jingle bells with the alarm ;)speed costs money, question is how fast can you afford to go??
