All of a sudden the other evening i noticed that all of my instrumentation panel lights were not working. i had to turn on the interior lights just to be able to see my spedo and tach. also my driving lights (not brake lights) in the back do not turn on. is there a fuse that might have been blown that controls all of these things. i need to get it fixed because its a hazard to drive without those lights

Yea, inside the fuse box on the side where the driver's door is, there should be an accessory fuse, check that.1998 Arctic White Camaro
3.8L V6 M5
Flowmaster 80 Series with 3\" tips
Whisper Lid w/ K&N
Flowtech Cutout
Free-Ram Air Mod
Blue Underbody Neon Kit
3 MTX 6000 10\" Subs
Rockford 800a2 Amp
My Camaro

Hey beany...I hadnt seen your post..so i just posted also. But I have the exact same problem on mine. But I already tried replacing the fuse but it burns it instantly as soon as you turn on the lights, so i think its a short somewhere. Try to replace the fuse on yours to see what it does. Take off the fuse panel cover on the left side of the dash when you open the door and replace the on that says IP Dimmer. It takes a 5 fuse. If it was a normal fuse burnout it should work normal as soon as you replace it..but if it keeps burning it out you have a short somewhere like me. Please let me know if you are lucky with anything. Oh and I forgot to tell you..also replace the one that says Tailights I think to fix that rear light problem. I think it takes like a 20 fuse. Check your fog lights I bet you they dont turn on either. I think they are controlled with same fuse as the those lights you were talking about. Because I know it burned mine out also..And i replaced it. That one works now..but my dash lights are still out.

I had the same problem about 2 weeks ago. When I turned the lights on, the inside, the fog lights, and the back lights went out. I took it to the dealer and they told me I needed a new light switch. They charged me $80 to find the problem, $80 to fix it, and like $50 for the switch. (I checked everything like 5 times before I took it to the dealer, but everything else was good, so I gave up)
Sounds like the same problem that all of you are having. If you can get a new switch, you should be able to do it yourself.www.cardomain.com/id/hpn2003
SLP cold air intake, B&B cat-back exhaust w/ quad tips, SLP subframe connectors, Eibach lowering springs and Bilstein shocks, Hotchkis Panhard Rod, Hotchkis LCA\'s, Taylor Spiro Pro wires, 160* thermostat, Optima battery, white face gauges w/ carbon fiber trim, carbon fiber/chrome pedals, Avital alarm w/ DEI Remote Start

Ok the problem I have is obviously electrical as well and falls under this topic.
Over the years I have replaced about every external light bulb cuz they keep blowing for some reason. I have also noticed when I brake my "juice" gauge goes down sometimes and then goes back where it was before.
New Battery?
New Alternator?
Fuses?
Or Other?
Comments Suggestions would be VERY helpful thanks.

I hope this helps:
I had the same problem....some stupid@ss put the wire to the center console light right next to the hand brake. Therefore when you move the handbrake up or down the fuse shorts. It took me 40+ hours to find that.
Check your wire, you may find a small knick in it.
Hope this helpsJoel
God is my copilot, but Satan has his foot on the gas!
94 3.4L AutoCamaroRagtop w/MSD ignition,Accelcoilpacks,K&N FIPK,BMR SFC&STB,3\"Catco w/3\"catbackSS muffler,JetStage 2,HomemadePIAAheadlightconversion http://www.geocities.com/cardiac1968

Ok, so I took my Bird to the shop and turns out that one my fuses was blown. I overlooked this tiny 5A fuse that was the "IP Dimmer". I thought it wouldn't have anything to do with my gauges but I guess I just thought too hard ;) Anyway the repair was only $16, but I figured I'd post my results anyway.F-body chicks ROCK.
