I think that i have the Y87 package, how could i find out if i do or not.

Look on inside of drivers door.

A few different ways..the easiest is check the RPO codes,,located on the door jam..look for 'Y87'
You could also check the back brakes to see if they are disc brakes or drums. Discs would be part of the Y87 package..
You could also burn out somewhere and check to see if there a TWO patches..the Y87 included lsd and 3.42 gears.94 Camaro 3.4 A4 <br />T-Tops<br />In the process of an LS1 swap.Comment

Is the Y87 package to Camaros like the W68 is to the Firebird? If so, the brochure says the package adds the front/rear/side body kit, dual outlet exhaust, lower profile tires, faster steering gear, and a limited slip rear.Comment

I have a Y87 with the sports appearence Package. On the Camaro the Y87 package and Sports Appearence package were seperate options (RPO'S)..yet normally came togethor. I think with the Firebird the W68 package was the equivelent of the Camaro's Y87 and sports appearence package being combined.Comment

I’m new. I actually don’t own a Camaro or firebird. I do have a 2000 Camaro 3.8 fly by throttle and 4l60e. This is installed in a 1980 Triumph TR7...2 weeks ago -
