i seem to have an odd electrical problem. my voltmeter is doing some crazy things. when i crank the car up and have the E brake on there volt meter goes to a little above 13 where it should be normally. upon putting the E brake down ther voltmeter goes below the middle line to about half way between the red and the middle line. i have no clue why it would do this. suppose i start the car and i have the e brake up and leave it up just enough to make the "brake" light come on. the voltmeter will go to above 13 and stay there until the E brake is pushed down and off.

this odd occurance happens about 80% of the time. doesnt matter whethers the motor is cold. warm. or if the headlights are on or off

No clue. I notice this with my car, but it only happens *very* slightly. May have something to do with the DRL's. Don't they only turn on when the e-brake is released?

I sometimes have the same same problem except when I'm braking to a stop... not all the time, but sometimes... must be a small flaw in GM's awesome design.
