  • Absolutely no low end power

For about the past month or so I have had decreasing low end power. It just seems to get worse and worse. I have an auto with the stock 3.08s. I know that isnt exactly the best set up but I havent had the money to change that yet. What my car does is when i take off from a dead stop at a red light or something it acts like i was driving a stick and not giving it enough gas and wants to stall until i hit about 15mph and then it gets more power. Through all speeds though i still don't have enough power. Nothing near as bad as the very low end though. Any ideas as to what is wrong with it?

Haven't had a tune up for a while. I am pretty sure my exhaust isn't leaking because it just got looked at. I will probably go on and get spark plugs and wires, but what kind should I get for the best performance? I don't know about the fuel pump or filter or anythign like that. I guess if the plugs don't take care of it i'll have to get that looked at.

i know autolites are good.. get coppers gapped at .060

my uncle builds drag cars and uses autolites for their plugs.. so i know they are good plugs. bennett auto supply carries them

as far as wires.. dont go cheap on wires. because the 3.8's put out quite a spark.. i spent 25 bucks on a set of wires... 2 weeks later.. 2 of my plugs arched.. or burned up due to the spark.. when it comes to wires i get the top performance wires.. they usually run me 65 bucks
