    i threw a code that is the number 442 and the guy at autozone says to check my manual. i dont have one. i have a 3.8 lt 95 maro. anyone have one they can look it up for me or know where i can find it at? i also threw a high air temperture code he said. he didnt say much else though cause i think they was busy. i did do the mod last week that my fog lights can stay on with my brights. would one of these be a wiring issue? anyone throw a code from doing this mod? thanks. -Nick-

    Sorry, but I have no clue what that is. I think it might be an A/C code.

      ohh well that will still help some. thanks for the help. would that possibly be the ECM? ill try to check em both.

        evap i am pretty sure has nothing to do with AC.. thats basicly your charcoal canister for the fuel lines..

          Close, but the evaporative emission control system transfers fuel tank vapors to an activated carbon canister only while the vehicle isn't running. Try checking the tank tube, air tube (fresh air inlet) and purge tube connections connected to a 1500cc canister. That's the EVAP (at least on 3.4's).

              uhh i didnt really do anything. after i got the code checked it didnt come back again for the same code, then i had to change my alternator, which threw a code, and my car hasnt been running bad, i just think my computer ignored the problem cause it was minor. i have some motor noise with the hood open, it might be a leak somewhere i cant tell. im not concerned cause i might be selling the car.

                i had this code once. turned out i didn't install the gas cap properly, so it wasn't tight. :rolleyes:
