Girlfriend running down to garage saying your moms nick nacks are vibrating off the shelf :D
i ran my car open headers before the longtubes and cam and it sounded like sh**
now it honesty sounds like a freaking all out cammed choppy azz drag car
a few buddies came over and were like " ah you dog you said you built up your v6" i was like i did and they thought i swapped an lt1 in.
after a good while my buddy wanted me to spin the tires , well before all the work with just sitting still and punching it i could spin about 15 feet, if i powrbraked of course farther, well i didnt powerbrake last night i just slammed the gas down and it spun both tires well over 100,honest to god
it stopped spinng when i let the gas off and my buddy was like damn dude i thought you were gonna lose it it was fishtailing real sideways
i heard james and stefans and even some guys on the board with cams and by far mine sounds the best honestly, i am not being an a** or gloating and i am not takeing anything away from anyone elses cars every one i heard was just simply amazing and imopressive. i think these longtubes sound so good.
at first i had no power we found that a ground wasnt on then the starter wouldn work well my buddy went and used a screwdriver to jump the starter and when it fired it scared the crap out of him, he was like holy sh** it doesnt sound like a v6, after 2 minutes my gf came down and said holy crap its rattling your moms nicknacks off the shelf thenmy dad came down at 2 o clock in the morning and was all smiles and i asked if moms nic nacks were rattling off the shelf he was like ****.... it rattled me outta fu**in bed and said he couldnt believe how good it sounds.
i wanna call someone who has a mic and will post it so i can get them to record the sound then this
kid with the mustangs dad was out and i idled past his house and he yelled stop, made me pop the hood and prove i didnt put an lt1 in, he was like how the hell can a v6 sound better than my boys v8, thats just insane. I need to get my mufflers on and they should be here by friday and iy should sound really good We ran in to a few little problems, my one heater hose wouldnt stop dripping antifreeze and when the idleing calmed down and started chopping the heater hose popped off, so we are gonna try some silicone to stop it from dripping, it looks like a o ring should be on them but the dealer said no. then it rattled a ground loose and the car shut off, i turned the key and my fuel pump wouldnt come on, i got real worried then my buddy said about the ground being loose so i tightened the bolt and everything works fine now. I am really happy, finally happy with my car and i cant wait to run some times, ive waited over a year to get all this going. i have some minor things to work out , i really need some good close pics of the passenger side vaccuum lines for a 96 camaro :( , after all the long hours we put in the other night i went to take it for a spin and when i touched the gas it felt like the rearend was messed up and i immediately stopped and looked at my buddy and said, " were a couple of dumba**es" he was like " ah the torque arm" oh well i guess you miss a couple things sometimes, its all good now. this edge converter seems good but it only brake stalls to 2400-2500 then the tires brake loose, i called andre and he said just run it at the ttrack and it is a 3600 converter and when i run drag radails it will stall higher andhe says this converter will work best when flashed, he also said he will restall it if i run bad numbers or if i want him to but he doesnt want to sacrifice top end and i will probably lose atleast 7 mph so i should keep it the way it is, i do trust him and i cant wait to hit the track, sorry this is so long guys.

holly ****. paragraphs are your friend. of course your open longtubes sound better at idle then the other cammed guys, because they are running through full exhaust and its quiets it down SIGNIFICANTLY. you just stated that, so yeah of course right now yours sounds meaner.

Thats cool man, it sounds like you finally got everything up and working right. But please somewhat proper writing technique ;) That is soooo hard to read.

For you leaking heater lines, are you talking about the ones on the top left (passengers side) of the motor that go into the heater core? If so, they NEED O rings. I had one of those lines blow on me, and I repaired the line with a piece of metal pipe :D , but I was leaking a small amount of antifreeze at the connectors. I finally pulled them off again and I don't remember an O ring being on, but it could have fallen off, it was dark when it happened. But my dad suggested to try one. Well needless to say it fixed the problem. :D

I was going to try o rings but this dumba** kid that works at a chevy garage said they dont have o rings in it and if i use them it wont work. I will definately try it, sorry about the paragraphing :(

I guess you could call them custom, i know fabricating the exhaust feels custom

Havent taken it to the track but it pulols hard, i have no traction at all.

thats not mean... try having a massive intake leak at 4am, with an open Y-pipe on a 3.4L, nothing like a 4500 rpm idle to please the neighbors while I try to find the leak
