lets say I change gears, or get bigger tires... wont that effect the speedo? How would I recalaberate it to make it read correctly? I'm told this cant be done unless there's a hypertech power programer. I've got an '01 camaro, no programers yet :/

You can recalibrate it using the SLP speed processor. Its a module you wire in. With it you can recalibrate for gear swaps and different size tires/wheels.
