    IAC location

    All I want to know is where is the IAC valve located? I have a code that says the IAC is disabled by the PCM but I have no problems with idle or anything. I want to check it to see if it's dirty or something is stuck in it but have no idea where it is. My Haines (can't find chiltons around here any more) doesn't mention it or I can't find it in there. Any info would help

      I am not sure about the 3.8, but on all of the FI Gm engines I have seen, it is on the Throttle body, above the Throttle Position Sensor.

      It is held in by 2 screws.

      There is a picture of it on page “4-10” of your haynes manual.

      It is labeled “1” on figure “11.1c”
