Gauges dont work!!

Hey guys,
I got a bad problem. I removed the top and bottom of my dash around the steering column to paint some things. I then put them back on and the Tachometer, speedometer, battery, and maybe the fuel gauges do not work. I checked the fuse and it is fine. The fuse box has power coming to it. I cannot think of anything else to check, and i get my liscence in 2 days! Need Help please!

The only thing I can think of is that when you put the panel back in , you didnt seat it right in its little connector. Its a PITA to get it in right. First try resetting your PCM and if that doesnt work then pull out the inst. panel and try and re-seat it.

When you say Pcm are you talking about the power control module? If so, can I do it myself, or do I need a professional? Thanks alot!

Nevermind, I took the panel out and carefully reseated it to make sure i wasnt forcing it into the wrong position, started it up, and it didnt work. So i tapped on the glass and the needles rose. It was a great feeling watching those needles rise finally! [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img] Thanx alot for ur help, It's greatly appreciated.
