  • $$ for plugs and wires

About how much should I be looking to spend to replace my plugs and wires? I'd like performance parts but nothing that breaks the bank. Which plugs/wires do you guys recommend? Also, what is the difference between standard plugs/wires and the performance variety?

I'll take exception with the +4's - they're long lasting, but remember, the spark only goes to one spot - the path of least resistance. Having 4 leads only helps you if you're fouling or wearing on plugs.

Also, you can't gap the +4's, and I'd think having all that metal around the spark might hurt the initial propagation of the flame.

If you like Bosch, I'd just get the regular plats.

I just threw the NGK TR55's on this morning. (regapped to .060", with Taylor Spiro Pro 8mm. Plus fire sleeves cause of the $%#@ 90 degree plug boots (I was too lazy to get a universal set and make my own)
