I use bearing grease. It seems to last longer than WD-40.~Derrick My Webpage
\'96 3.8L V6 M5 Firebird Y87 | 162.8 RWHP / 196.7 RWTQ
• SLP CAI • Y87 Package - 3.23s • 180º thermo w/ fan switch • TB spacer from DEE
1991 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4

is your door squeaking through out the whole swing? or is it just squeaking a little bit when the door is almost closed? cause mine did the second. i realized that the door panel was rubbing the front body panel right at the joint. it doesn't do it any more cause it has rubbed off as much as it is going to rub off.2000 pewter firebird
Short Throw Shifter, Whisper Lid, Whisper Ram Air, Holley Filter, B&B Triflo, LSD, BMR LCA, STB, PHR, and sway bars (32/21).
Power window conversion

Someone once told me to put this stuff on once a year. I have been doing it ever since, and no problems. It works really good.1996 Camaro RS Bright Red
3.8L V6 A4 3.42\'s
K&N Filtercharger
Flowmaster 80 Series Muffler
Y87 Performance Package

That probably means your door hinges need to be tightened because the door is hanging at angle when it shouldn't. Seems like a common occurence because our doors are so long and heavy.~Derrick My Webpage
\'96 3.8L V6 M5 Firebird Y87 | 162.8 RWHP / 196.7 RWTQ
• SLP CAI • Y87 Package - 3.23s • 180º thermo w/ fan switch • TB spacer from DEE
1991 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4

How do you tighten the hinges? My doors are squeaking a bit too at times, and it seems like they lean down a bit when I open them. Do you just tighten the bolts going through the hinges or is there some special way to do it? I haven't looked at it any since it's not that big of a deal, but since the topic was brought up I figured I'd ask.AIM: Alientr8tr
1998 Camaro 3.8L
Flowmaster 80-series, !FRA, Eibach Springs, KYB AGX, SLP sway bars, 3.42/LSD, Wings West kit, Z06 Motorsports, Silverstone Metallic paint
Shift 5 - My Band

My driver side door hinge started to develop an aggrivating creak too. I tried to pack some White Lithium Grease back in there (did this before I saw this topic) but it wasn't getting to the bearing. I decided that the WD-40 wasn't gonna last long enough to suit me, so I dripped some oil (motor oil) on the hinge. I opened and closed the door about 3 times and then wiped the excess oil off. Cured the problem. You might want to try a product called PB Blaster. I think you can get it at Advance Auto. It's designed to dissolve rust and lubricate, so that might do wonders. The stuff works great on rusty bolts. Oh well, I didn't have any to try. Good luck.~Chris
1999 Hugger Orange Camaro
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/273836

†…faith…hope

PB Blaster, I'm not sure how long it would keep your door from squeakin, but I know it works wonders on rusty bolts.
