I found this on ls1tech.com. Both of my front fender mounts are bent/busted like this. Seems like what this guy did is an easy fix. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen or have done this or another fix for it.
They are not jacking points. STupid GM for making them look like they are.

I don't have those plastic blocks on mine. I can't bend the tabs back because the plastic actually ripped off the fender, so there is not a plastic tab to bolt to the car anymore. I did the fix in the pic...drilled a hole on each side and put a sheetmetal screw through the hole in the fender. Then I cut the tabs off and bent the metal out of the way.
I didn't jack the car up from that point, several shops did that with their lifts. Jacking seems to be an issue on these cars. Typically, I use the front sub frames, but now they are getting bent up. Do these cars have any strong spots or is it all wimpy sheetmetal??

What are the plastic blocks under the car that say "Don't Jack Here"?
Those blocks are actually spots for jacking up the car, but the label says 'Do not jack here' really means 'Do not jack in front of the plastic block or at the ridge'. If you refer to the Helm manual, one of the drawings indicated that it is one of the proper front jack points.
Wonder why the newer cars don't have them? Are they a GM accessory that can be added?
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
