  • I need a major tune-up. But what do I do?

I bought my car off of a woman and I really dont think she's ever done anything to this car besides change the oil. The plugs and wires were the same ones from the factory, or at least very old becuase they were rusted out and the wires just came right apart when I pulled on them. My car has 138,000 miles on it, what do I need to do to be safe?

Timing chains go out that early? I got 150K and I believe my timing chain is quite fine...

Timing chain is over kill. If the car is hard to start off and on then the chain is streached or sliping.

coils maybe.. htey wear out over time.. you can get factory replacements from autozone for like 20 bucks a piece or msd's for like 45 a piece... its up to you.. but if any of them are gettin old, tey'll not let you perform properly...
