  • msd wires worth it??

here soon im getting a full tune up on my car,and i was curious if the msd super conductor wires for the 3.4 would be worth the $15 or 20 over the ac delco wires?? i dont think they would be a big upgrade but would they make a noticeable difference over the stock wires??my only mod is the flowmaster catback but soon ill have a catco cat and a slp cai

i have a 3.8..when i bought it i switched to splitfire triple platinums and msd super conducters..i noticed quite a bit of difference..also with a 3.4 you could upgrade your other ignition parts you'd notice a really nice gain...

I installed the MSD wires and AC Rapid Fire plugs. Do use the plastic wire seperators. You need to smooth out the bumps on the inside to fit over the bigger wires. I got a misfire on #1 untill I used the seperators. Also spray silicon inside the plug boot and push untill you get a solid click. Use anti seize paste on the plugs.

yes... just read mine under the Accel Coil post.... bastards... lol Go with MSD and never never buy any accel ignition product ever and if you have already bought some go outside and throw them someplace~preferrably at something explosive or maybe a small volcano if you happen 2 have one on hand.

Put mine on about three months ago. I'm loving them. Biggest differences that I noticed were the quicker start, and smoother idle. Well worth it in my eyes

it will make a big diffrence on how easy it is to install them(stack manifolds are a PITA). I personally use www.ftpp.net because I have never had a problem with them and they usually have very good prices, but do shop around. check out the sponser section. oh and I have Taylor wires. Taylor and MSD seem to be neck and neck around here when it comes to argueing who is the best for wires. for anything else ignetion related though go MSD

I bought mine from LMPerformance. So far, they've been good to me, with getting the items off relatively quickly, and providing tracking numbers
