Did a custom Manual Fan Switch, $18 total

So I noticed in the lounge a member posted his new site he made, and it had a guide for manual fan switch by getting parts from Radio Shack for like $15 or so. I went sunday to get all the stuff from RS, came out to like $18, better than SLPs $70. The hardest part of this project was having to sit there and solder all the wires and make it all nice and clean and fit. Dremeling the holes for the switch and LEDs wasnt too fun either, didnt have the drill today. Anyways, the guys site is http://www.freewebtown.com/Loochy88/Frontpage.htm

I dont know if Loochy is his SN on here but its a great lil tutorial on this project. I recommend it to everyone who has a good amount of time one day. Ill post pics when I get them off my phone. I also wired it to make sure when the car kicks on the fans (high or low) the right LEDs come on to automatically, its pretty neat. Anyways, just recommending this to everyone, it was fun.

yeah that's a pretty sweet mod.

If you're thrifty like I was though, and don't mind dealing with the SES light, It'll cost you maybe 8 bucks...4 for the switch, 4 for the wire [img]smile.gif[/img]
