and that trans am spoiler on a 6...very smart move ;)

about the gauge clusters, i read a walkthrough on fbody.com for the v6 camaros and they said you can simply swap the cluster with a v8 cluster and plug it in. they said it should work. but i heard from someone else that the gauge would still be off. i think you'd have to calibrate the cluster for your gear ratio because most Zs have different rear gear ratios than 6s.

but honestly its not worth it. unless you've got some killer mods and go to the track a lot, you arent going to be going 150 everyday. if its simply for showing off, then buy a 150 overlay and mark the correction on a post-it note like on the pimp my ride with the 240 ;)

Actually, the speedometer wouldn't be off, since the PCM controls what gearing you have installed, not the guage cluster. What would be off would be your tach, by 25% (either more or less rpms than actual). I can't remember which way, but it's because it's off of a car with 25% more cylinders. You can either fashion your own resistor to compensate for it, or buy a kit.

Also, here's a thread where it's been discussed before

HAHhah my secrets... well ill dig up what information that i can give you about my lnterior lights in my car. With the headlights/HVAC controls, you actually need to heplace the lights with LED's ( any cloro of your choice) But for us pontiac people its is EXTREMELY hard to do. Because you have to take your current overlays and sand the cuttent color that is imbedded in the plastic. You just want to take off the first layer of plastic where there is the color imbedded in. If you remove your overlay on either your headlight or HVAC you will know what im talking about. Again this is very hard to do, mines not perfect, but pretty close.Costs about 10 dollars... Just a lot of labor and time.

Now with the guages, i bough a overlay kit a few years back, about 1-2 year ago, but i bet that companies still make them. Its a simple install, and makes your dask look awesome. Just search around the internet and see what you can find. During the day its a white overlay, and at night you can chose between blue/green. It cost about 6--60 dollars...

oo ya and the TA spoiler...
