i have a 3.4,im already ordering msd super conductor wires for my car for the needed tune up im getting, does anyone have a part number and an idea on price for the msd coils??? are the worth the price?? my only mod is a flowmaster catback, soon tho to have a carsound cat and a cai,car has 138,000 miles,i dont want to put up $400 for the parts if they arent needed

unless your stock ones are bad, theres really no point in upgrading the coils/ either way, do the cat and cai first.

I have a question about MSD coils, Now if you get the coils do you still have to run the box as well?

nope, the msd coils mount up to the stock ignition coil and make a great replacement for the stock ones if they go bad.

the msd coil pack number is 8224. i run them on my 3.4 and noticed little to no gain from just new coils. you can find them on summit for ~ $45. I'm sure our sponsors also have them as well. check them out first... all in all, not a bad upgrade if your old one's are worn out. just make sure that your wires and plugs are good as well..
