The old will just pull right off. Dealership will proabbly be the best bet on the new materials.

      weatherstipping where?

I have hardtop door/window weatherstripping, since I now I have t-tops, get technical I also have 2 extra sets of t-top weathersttriping too.

Just pull it off just becarful on hardop there is a screw in the middle of the doorjam on the back side and a plastic pin in middle of hte door in the front by the front hinge.

It just pulls off out of the channel and ease in the new one with a flathead screwdriver.

T-top weahterstripping has 2 more screws on the roof at the 2 corners.

Are you leaking? Or is there actual visible damage to the weatherstripping.

If you are leaking I can give you some tips to fix it, you probable do not need a new weatehrstripping, just an adjustment.

If its a t-top leak, you will likely have water in the floor pan in backseats and at the bottom of the a-pillars.

browse this thread a little bit...

            http://www.camarov6.com/cgi-bin/ulti...c;f=1;t=014379

if you still need some help just describe where you are leaking...

BTW i think dealer t-top weatherstripping are like over $100 a window, try www.yearone.com I think they sell new ones too.

Or just borwse ebay, I think used ones off ls1 cars(93-02 they are the same, but ls1 ones are newer) go for like $35-70 for a pair.

well it isn't visible damage, and there is only leaking when I pressure washer directly at the window, a little gets through. However ,there are visible gaps at the back of each window when they are up and there is a lot of wind noise while driving

hmm... where at? between the t-top and window, or the weatherstripping and window.

I have heard of people have problems wth the window track and not have it line up before. I'd try taking off the weatherstripping and putting it back on and seeing how it works.

I have the same problem with my Camaro. When i am at the car wash the water seems to get in through the back of the window if i am not careful enough. Even when i am driving there is some wind noise too. There has got to be a leak there, and i would like to fix the problem. However, i am only having trouble with the driver's side, the other side is fine. What can be done here?

Is there some way after I pull it off, to get the whole thing to soften up enough so it may reshape to my window?
