Just keep in mind that pressure switch may of may not be the problem. It is possable the cluch controler went out, or something behind the a/c controls. We are just going with the simplet problem first. But for all honisty, you should not need to jump that switch unless it is bad.

When we charged it, the compressor started kicking in and out while the pressure built up, until it got to the point : that it would stay on like it should. That was the only time I've ever worked on an a/c, though, so I can't even begin to speculate. .......like i said, I WOULD NOT USE THEM LITTLE CAN. But yes it will, if you connect one can and it does not come on, take it off, and connect another can, and so on. I guess your going to need about 5 cans just to get it running. I Guess you need about maybe 8 total. LIKE IVE BEEN TELLING YOU, YOU NEED TO VACUUM DOWN THE SYSTEM, AND USE A DRUM, AND CHARGE IT PROPERLY. If you dont know what your doing, you need to go see a professional, it will be better and cheaper in the long run.http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2245261 Green 1997, 105k, all stock except for Z28 front springs, Air shocks in the rear, home made coolant recovery tank, home made battery hold down.
