Ok so awhile ago i put a high-flow cat on. of course the SES light went on after about 200 miles. so i cleared it by disconnecting the bat. when it came on again the next time i did the same thing but it wouldnt work. couldnt figure out why. this went on for about 3 months. so i finally get an o2 sim. put it in after 150 miles the SES is still on. so i ordered one of those cheap obd-ii scanners of ebay. so i figured that would do it. but i figured hey i minds well do some little maintenance in the mean time. so i checked the air filter. didnt need cleaned and changed the fuel filter.
the next day i got it my car to leave work. the ses light went out.
the only thing that changed was the fuel filter.
dont anyone know if the fuel filter can trigger an ses code?
