anyone can obviously tell mine is way low, but i did the math, and im getting 12.9 mpg... compared to the 19.29 city/highway i am supposed to...

what could cause it to be THIS low?

When was the last time you had a COMPLETE tuneup?
Check tire pressure (Should be APX 32-35 PSI)
Run a bottle of Fuel System Cleaner(Techron,STP)
      Whats your average Temperature?
Do you drive hard (Speed Demon? Lead Foot?)

just got it from a dealer, so im pretty sure it would hjave been done there, avg temp like 160 or so
not really a lead foot... i will give it some juice every once in a while... not too bad tho

160 is a fairly good temp. Not hot and not cold.If you say the car is completly fine then your mileage problem is much more in depth.Take it back to the dealer and find out whats up.

          Extended Warranty?

12 MPG is totally awful for a V-6

It is a V-6 right? :D (Just had to make sure)

              Take it to the dealer.

ok... filled it up today, put a bottle of injector cleaner in, and modified the air lid so its all smooth now...
i drove about 80 miles, and the needle is still above 3/4... so it seems like its getting much better

my question is, will i have to run a bottle of this stuff everytime i fill up? or is 1 time enough?
