    Ill cut to the chase,
started car this morning, there is a ticking that increases with the rpm until about 3000 when the exhaust drones it out. the noise is coming from the passenger side of the engine bay.
    sound is
tic tic tic tic tic tic and gets faster as the rpms go up.
    whats wrong??? pushrod?

also no SES light and having shot the giggle gas for a month

Maybe a lifter, does the sound go away after the car has run for a while?

what he said, if its there all the time, I suggest flushing the motor, incase its a gunked and sticky lifter, then if its still there may have to pull the valve covers, and see whats up.

Does the sound change with throttle position (not RPM)? Could be a header gasket.

Get a PVC pipe or something and use it like a stethoscope to find where it's coming from.

You can hold your hand (DONT BURN YOURSELF) around the headers to find leaks. You'll feel puffs of air.

Felpro gaskets definetly do not work...the ports are the wrong shape. The Felpro gaskets are designed to be stock replacements, so I would suspect the stock gaskets have the same shape. Your best bet is to get a new gasket from Pacesetter.
