No Heater

My car has been getting up to 245F with no heat.
The fan blows, but no heat.
On the W/P pulley the lower line does NOT get hot.
This lower line, eventually criss-crosses/turns into the top line where it connects to the Heater Core.
This line does not get hot, but the other does.

I'm gonna remove my E-Murray (Oreilly) ****ty brand 160F and put my stock 195F back in.

I really dont think that will help, my oreilly 160 works perfect. Why is your car getting to 245, i have never seen mine get past 210, and that was with the old 195. Take both hoses off the water pump, turn heater on with key in on positon but engine off and take a water hose and try flushing the core out, See if it will even flush, remeber it will only flush one way, it has a check valve.

i havent even seen a check valve, but do believe it exists.
so which hose do i force water into?
I believe you are right, its probably just clogged up with orange bull$hit dexcool crap.

by the way, is there some kinda coolant pressure test? 18 psi?

why is my ECT getting to 245F?? probably because my 160F Murray (Oreilly) crap brand thermo is stuck OPEN! yes, OPEN

okay, definately wasnt the thermo being open, cause the 195F gave the same results.

Maybe I should take my clogged cooling system to a mechanic to have them flush the cooling system?
