Well first time I change the oil myself since I bought it in Sept. Car has had the oil changed twice at the dealer without a mention of the metal, but I think it has been there a while. Car seems to run fine, but I know that may be short lived. What is the most likely cause and solution to this problem? Complete rebuild? Engine swap? Or try to sell it for as much as possible as soon as possible? What would an overhall cost compared to an engine swap?

How much metal? A few tiny flakes, a few small flakes, some large flakes, some shavings, some bearings? A little isn't bad, but a lot is.
