wtf. the local shop says that i have a blown head gasket, and as BLLDOG said my car would ahve been overheating due to that right??? well my car has NEVER gone past 1/4 on the temp gauge let alone overheat. maybe the temp gauge was broken?? the day that my serpentine belt came off the radiator cap also blew off. coincidence? it's $2,000 of work. what should I do? :(

well ok im back. its internal and its only reading 50 parts per million on the hydrocarbon test thing. its only a crack. i beleive though because the radiator fluid looked like a mud pit, i think that SEARS autoplace didnt put dex-cool in because it was horrible and it was changed by them early november. hm. we just had them put a tablet in to seal the crack and they are gonna flush out the radiator a few times, but it will need to be replaced in the long run. :( with those two things that should give me enough time to think about what i want to do with my car.

The day your belt came off your radiator cap blew off?? Wow, The belt coming off stopped your water pump, causing your car to overheat. If it got to the point were the car shut off, yes I do believe engine is jacked.Your Dex-cool probably looks like crap because you have a nice coolant/oil mix going on.95 Camaro 3.8L Y2K motor
www.cardomain.com/id/coriya71

you should get your thermo sender checked for its voltage. it could be that its is malfuncting, with cause your shizel to blow off and whatever else is broken. i feel your pain man but i think your screwed.Heady Navy Blue Metalic
Heady Catback Flowmasters
Heady Bilstien HDs, PAnhard rod, LCAs,SFCs
NGK\'s and MSD Wires, K&N flowin + Smooth Bellow
Y87 3800 GT Performance.
I love the way this car makes turns!

1989 black Camoaro RS.
