Does anyone know what speed a 2002 v6 camaro is goverened at?

118... Everything was governed at 118 because the tire speed rating...

shuts off at 118, with my speed limiter removed though I was able to fairly easily bury the speedo needle into the voltage gauge [img]smile.gif[/img] approx 135.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

my car doesnt shut off at 118 the tac and speed odmoter quit pulling in third at 118 an like 4600 rpms then when i shift in to drive it will drop 2 miles and hour.Comment

So you're saying it is limited to 118. The car doesn't literally turn off, but it shuts off the injectors to keep you from going any faster.Originally posted by firebird99ramair6:

never hit the limmiter in my bird but i know my bereta it was a 94 it cut out at 110 and it seemed violent to me, hits hard, the first time i did it i thought i broke something1995, 3.4l, v6 automatic, no pcm mods, no cat turbo thrush muffler, dry 100 shot of nos(ended the life of the car befor its time), cai, T.B. heater bypass,Comment

i didnt meen shut off i mean some cars the motor cuts out at the limiter mine just and yalls just keeps going but doesnt gain anymore speed i have a auto so im doing 118 in 3rd now with a lot to go in third then i got 4th i feel like it should run 135 140Comment

I've got a M5, I can do 120-125 @ 5300-5600 rmp in 4th...
