Has this ever happened to anyone? Sometimes as I'm rolling up the window(drivers side) it will hang somewhere in the middle of rolling it up, then I can't make it go up or down with the button. If I wait a little while, say 20-30seconds it'll start working again and either go all the way up or stick again where I have to wait again. It almost seems like the longer I wait for it to work again, the longer it will go on it's trip up before sticking again. Any ideas? I thought I'd check here before I go and rip the door panel off.

mine does the same thing. I think its because of the heat. Mine's only done this a few time on the hot days. I dunno, maybe its the early signs of a bad window motor.

Yea, it has actually come with the heat. And banging real hard on the side of the door doesn't help... The same thing also seems to be happeneing to my friend's 98 camaro. This is the 1st time I've ever had any problems with my 94's windows though.

Welcome to the club! I think everybody has gone through this one. Run a search on replacing the window motor. It's not too bad.

So that's the problem? The window motor? It works just fine except it pauses every-so-often. I would think it would be effected all the time if the motor was weak.

The motor is going bad and its getting real hot and the thermal overload kills the motor. That's why you can let it cool down and it will work for a bit longer.

You are experiencing one of the most common problems with these cars. I have had two drivers side motors go bad! Very expensive to get replaced as well....

I have replaced both window motors 2x each...I bought the motors with lifetime warrenties so I only had to pay once.

Your motor is going bad, no if ands or buts.

right now I am having problems with my pass side going down very slowly...I replaced the motor again but no change...I think I have either a failing relay or a short/cracked wire...I am planning to change all of that out and replace the relay with an auto down relay.

My driver's side did the same thing and both the motor and window regulator had to be changed.
