  • !MAF now running lean?

I took the MAF screen out the other day and now I have a lean code. I was wondering if i got a adjustable fuel pressure regulator and uped the pressure would that tak away the lean condition and the code? wouldnt that make more power? also how can I get a lean code since the Mass airflow meter is behind where the screen was shouldnt it see that there is more air comming in adjust the fuel to compensate for it? also would a intake the flows better than stock cause the same problem? if no why not? thanks in advance.

I took my screen off and have not had a problem. Have you tried resetting your computer and letting the car figure out what it needs? Removing the screen could have freaked it out a little. Thats what I would try first.

          Don't do an AFPR..

as for the lean code, let the PCM learn. When i first took mine out i threw a lean code but its no big deal at all.. the pcm eventaully learned and I stopped throwign that code.

          just give it time.
