Well, I got the injectors and they are not a direct fit. It is because some of our cars came with Delphi injectors and they have a different electrical plug. What a pain in the a**. I am getting some addapters from ZZP.

Pull the plug on an injector. If the two male terminals in the injector are wide and flat, the GTP injectors will hook right up. If there are two pins, you would need addapters.

The price for a set of connectors you wire in is around $45. They also make addapters that just plug in. They are quoting me a price tommorrow. I will let you know. I bet the addapter cost more then I paid for the injectors. However, there is nothing else I can do.

if the fuel cut off rpm IS your problem then you probably wont need bigger injectors afterall

There are a number of places in the VCM that have limiters. With HP Tuners, we can edit the following (with my settings showing)(the formating didn't work right on the tables so use your imagination):

Engin;Fuel Control;Fuel Cutoff,DFCO;

Cut Off RMP vs Gear

Cut Off Resume
PN 5000 5000
Reverse 6000 6000
In Gear 6450 6450

ETC Cutoff RPM vs Gear

RPM
In Gear 6450
Reverse 6450

Engin;Spark Advance;V6 Spark RPM Limiter;

High RPM Threshold 6400
High RPM Spark 10

Spark Limiter MPH vs Gear

MPH
1st 40
2nd 140
3rd 140
4th 150
5th 150

Speedometer;Speed Limiter;

Electronic Throttle Speed Limiter 150
Speed Lmiter Disable Inj 1 200
Sped Limiter Disable Inj 2 200

Speed Limiter vs Gear

Cutoff Resume
1-2-3 Gear 140 139
4th Gear 150 149
5th Gear 150 149

I think that is all. If there are more, I can not find them or HP Tuners can not edit them.

This does not effect the duty cycle of the injectors. If you are over 20ms at 6000 rmps, you are past 100% duty cycle.

hmmmm..that was my only idea..i couldnt find any others either..im guessing your highest shift is somewhere around 6400rpms with the cam..maybe you do need bigger injectors..couldnt hurt anyway ..maybe 6000 is just where they start to lock up

I'm running 24lb injectors and have the same problem.

It has to be something with the fly by wire. Which hpt doesn't seem to be too concerned with making great leaps with openning new tables for us v6 guys.

Has dhp done any 99+ fbody's yet?

I was looking at mine and at 6000 rpms I'm at 28 ms and then in goes up to 31 ms. I'm also running a fmu. Does that mean I need larger injectors, if so, what size should I get? Also I'm going to the dyno on Wed.(finally) and should get some #'s.

Another thought is think it woudl be hard to convert to a 98 setup? Because frankly drive by wire sucks in just about every way.

It would be a serious pita.

Items needed:
TB, upper & lower intake, new lid, pedal, and all the throttle linkage. Plus a 98 pcm, and I'm sure some other stuff.
