Where is this located on the 3.4? I know where the coolant sensor is, but i've heard there is a sensor for you're gauge in the dash and one for you're computer.
    Here is my problem though.
When I start the car all is well, but once I get on the road, if I hit the gas my check gauges light flickers a bit, sometimes it stays on at a stoplight, sometimes it just flickes. I already replaced the coolant sensor but it's still doing the same damn thing. All my gauges seem fine, but sometimes my temp gauges does not seem to work, kinda like it stays frozen at certain temp sometimes and doesn't move at all.
Sorry for the long story, just tryin' to be descriptive.
    Thanks, Nino

is the sensor your talking about on the driver side on the intake manifold right next to the thermostat?

The sensor is on the driver's side cylinder head in the front. There will be one wire coming out of it. It sits in the corner of the head pretty much right behind the coil packs and the power steering pump.

        Really???
I thought that was the cam sensor? Could that be causing the flickering light?
        Thanks

Cam position sensor is on the top of the block right in front of the lower intake manifold. It is held in with one bolt and has 2 wires coming out of it.

Well, I replaced the temperature switch and the problem doesn't seem to go away. The check gauges light is still flickering and all my gauges seem to work properly but the light (checkgauges) stills blinks like it has a loose wire, wtf? man this thing is driving me crazy.
Thanks guys, any more suggestions or ideas for me?
