problems ?????

ok heres the deal my 94 camaro is having a little problem....

its idling around 900/1000 rmp(which i think is normal ??) with a little bit of a rough idle (i mean it sends a bit of vibration thru the car)its not a huge vibration its just not smooth.

also dont know if its related but my CAT needs to be changed becuase the mufflers inside are breaking down and rattling

any ideas ?

Clogged converter could be part of it. Have you done a tune-up lately? Plugs, wires, filters, etc. Any SES codes?

will be changing all the Plugs, wires, filters, etc. this weekend

when i first got the car i was getting a ses light when i was decelerating from about 60mph it wasn’t coming on every time just occasionally with no difference in driving or performance. i cleaned out some vacuum / breather hoses and haven’t seen the light since

Clogged converter what the CAT, thats what i thought.

yeah...that rattle makes me definitely think its the cat...new cat and a good tune up and you should be all set [img]smile.gif[/img]
