Anyonw know how to get to the cylinder 4 spark plug? Its the one in the middle of the passenger side. I took the boot off but its so hard to get a tool into there. I wanna try to take off some part off the top, but I dont know where. Also, how expensive are swivel joints?

There's 2 heat shields on the passenger side covering the headers. Remove the 3 nuts ant take off the "inner" shield (one on top nearest engine). From there you should be able to move the "outer" shield around a bit (you won't be able to remove it.
You can reach the plug with a 2" extension.Sinister Six
Cardomain
--This doesn\'t change the fact that I am ~The Guru~ who still kicks puppies...

I put one knee down on the battery and rested the other leg on the manifold and got at it from the top, literally sitting on top of the engine to get that bastard out. The #4 plug is a NIGHTMARE. I used a regular spark plug socket with a short extension if i remember correctly. I played with that one plug for about 20 minutes.-1999 Camaro Coupe 3800 Series II V6 A4 - SOLD
-1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP coupe

Believe it or not I wrestled the heat shields off. They had to be forced to conform, but as they say "We have ways with dealing with them",after that you can get #4 by going to the opposite side of the engine & streatching your arm across with a long reach s.plug socket or a small ext.on a reg. socket. After the heat shields are off it makes it much easier, then wrestle both ht. sheilds back on.Make sure to snap & hear an audible "click" when the wire (all wires for that matter)go on the plugs ,then put the plug ht. shield on.geocor

heres an easy way to remove all sparkplugs. get the spark plug socket, take out the rubber part inside and cut it in halve. then get the racheting wrench that fits on the sparkplug socket and rachet it off. i took all but two of the spark plugs off before i realized i had those racheting wrenches (gear wrench). it took me 2 min to remove the last two, when it had taken me all day to remove four.
